The Shannon Pot is the source of the majestic River Shannon - the longest river in Ireland, travelling 280km from its source in Cavan to the Shannon Estuary in Limerick. Lough Macnean is a large freshwater lake on the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. It is in two parts.
