Duncarnock Fort (known locally as The Craigie) is a 204 m high craggy hill on the banks of Glanderston Dam. There was an iron age fort on the summit, and at present, visitors could enjoy panoramic views over greater Glasgow from the summit. Since 1981 Duncarnock Fort has been classified as a Scheduled Monument in the Scottish Monument Lists.

Crookston Castle is the only surviving medieval castle in Glasgow. This ruined castle was built around 1400 A.D, by the Stewarts of Darnley and it is located on a hill overlooking the small river "Lavern Water". The castle is surrounded by a defensice ring-ditch.

Pollok House is the ancestral home of the Stirling Maxwell family. It houses a large private collection of Spanish paintings, glass, silverware, porcelain and antique furnitures. The garden of the house has a collection of over 1,000 species of rhododendrons. The garden also contain a Beech tree which is thought to be 250 years old.

Neilston Pad is a mountain summit in the Ayr and Sanquhar to the River Clyde region in the county of East Renfrewshire, Scotland. Its highest point is 261 metres and is characterised by a relatively flat summit plateau surrounded by steep slopes and distinctive forestry on its eastern side. A majestic ruin of four storey, rectangular tower house built in 1449 by the powerful Maxwell family. It was ruinous by the nineteenth century but was later restored and used as a church until the 1970s when a dedicated building was constructed directly abutting the old castle. The castle has been restored and is now part of the Maxwell Mearns Castle Church. It also gives its name to nearby Mearns Castle High School.

Greenbank Garden is a 2.5-acre 18th century walled garden in Carolside, Clarkston, East Renfrewshire, Scotland, owned and operated by the National Trust for Scotland and open to the public.
