VUDA Park - 4 Things to Know Before Visiting

This is a museum located on the heart of Vishakapatnam which houses the historical treasures and artifacts of the Kalingandhra region. Collections available for viewing in the museum include ancient armory, crockery, coins, silk costumes, jewelry, stuffed animals, portraits, manuscripts, letters, diaries, scrapbooks, periodicals, and maps. All of these were used by the early settlers in the region.

Victory at Sea War Memorial is located on Beach road and is frequently visited by tourists on their way to the beach. The monument has a pyre lit permanently in honour of the Indian martyrs. The well-maintained monument often generates a sense of patriotism and pride in our countrymen who fight selflessly for the safety of the citizens. Missiles, Fighter Plane Models and Tankers are also kept around the memorial. The monument can be seen from the main road itself when on the way to the beach.

Submarine Museum is located in Visakhapatnam in the south-eastern state of India. The museum is inside an actual submarine, INS Kurusura, which was India's 5th submarine. The museum is situated on RK beach, near the War Memorial in Visakhapatnam. The INS Kurusura served the Indian Navy for 31 years before it was decommissioned in 2001. Post that, it was used a museum to spread awareness about Indian Naval Forces, the technology used and its development in India.

This is a hilltop park in the city of Vishakapatanam which comprises 380 acres (150 ha) of land covered with flora and tropical trees. around three hundred thousand Indian and foreign tourists visit the park every year. To protect the environment, VMRDA has declared the hill a plastic-free zone. A cable car connects to the top of the hill.
