Nymans is a grade II listed National Trust garden for all seasons and is set around a romantic house and ruins. The garden was developed, starting in the late 19th century, by three generations of the Messel family, and was brought to renown by Leonard Messel.

This 90 acre site, created from a former brickworks, has level surfaced paths which provide an easy-going lakeside walk. It offers a selection of outdoor activities including an adventure-style play area, orienteering course, tuition in canoeing and sailing. Tilgate Park is a large recreational park situated south of Tilgate, South-East Crawley. It is the largest and most popular park in the area. Originally a 2,185-acre part of the ancient Worth Forest, the park and adjacent areas were part of the larger Tilgate Estate. Although visitor activity is mostly focused on the area surrounding Tilgate Lake and on the adjacent gardens of a former country mansion, a large area of the park is former silvicultural forest.

Ouse Valley Viaduct offers quite the dramatic view. A structural marvel, the viaduct was originally built in 1838 to carry the London-Brighton line over the River Ouse. Ardingly Reservoir was set in 120 acres of spectacular landscape near Berwick, in East Sussex, It was filled with water pumped from the River Cuckmere when river flows are high. The water is then stored in the reservoir before being treated and distributed to customers. The Ardingly Activity Centre provides watersports for the public including wind surfing, canoeing, powerboating and dinghy sailing. The reservoir is also used by Ardingly Rowing Club.

Tulleys Farm  is a fourth-generation  family farm, located in West Sussex. Originating in 1937, the farming business at Tulleys was founded by Bernard Beare, and continues to be run by the Beare family to this day.
