Belvoir Castle is the ancestral home of the Dukes of Rutland. The family have lived at Belvoir in an unbroken line for almost a thousand years. Melton Country Park is an area of open space 137 acres in size, 10 minutes walk from the center of Melton Mowbray. Skylarks Nature Reserve is an attractive wetland nature reserve owned by Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. This was the first accessible nature reserve in the UK. Skylarks was once a commercial gravel pit, and has been carefully managed so that now the holes left by extraction are a valuable wetland habitat for a variety of wildlife.

Holme Pierrepont Country Park, home of The National Water Sports Centre is located in the hamlet of Holme Pierrepont near Nottingham, England and on the River Trent. It is used for many different types of sports and has recently received significant investment which has enabled a major refurbishment of existing facilities as well as introduction of new facilities. it was previously one of five National Sports Centres, and is a unique sporting venue set in the centre of the country.

The Melton Carnegie Museum was built in 1904. It traces the social and economic history of Melton and includes exhibitions on the town's world-renowned Stilton cheese and pork pie industries and accounts of the arguments for and against fox hunting. It contains a fine collection of shells and various objects of interest.’

Kirby Hall is one of England's greatest Elizabethan and 17th-century houses. Begun by Sir Humphrey Stafford. The house is now in a semi-ruined state with many parts roof-less although the Great Hall and state rooms remain intact. The gardens, with their elaborate "cutwork" design, complete with statues and urns, have been recently restored. The building and gardens are owned by the Earl of Winchilsea and are managed by English Heritage.

Trent Bridge is a truly historic cricket ground. It first hosted a one-day international in 1974 and has been used as a Cricket World Cup venue for the 1975, 1979, 1983 and 1999 editions. Ruddington Village Museum was founded in 1968. It explores retail life in late Victorian and early Edwardian Ruddington through a series of displays which recreate Ruddington’s shops of yesteryear. It was one of the iconic attractions in this area and a lot of peoples visits this place every year

Stapleford Miniature Railway is a preserved 10 ¼" gauge steam railway running through nearly 2 miles of scenic parkland and celebrated its centenary in 2008. The Major Oak, known throughout the world as the secret hiding place of Nottinghamshire's outlaw hero Robin Hood, is located in historic Sherwood Forest, a 450-hectare national nature reserve. It’s not clear whether the Major Oak is one tree or multiple saplings that have fused together. The soil below is also relatively poor and acidic, meaning the oak has had to take things steady, slowly growing over a long time to reach this size.

St James' Church, Louth is a parish church of the Church of England in Louth, Lincolnshire, England. It is notable for its tall spire. It has the tallest steeple of any medieval parish church in Britain. The church is mainly 15th century and is the third building on the site, replacing 11th- and 13th-century buildings. Originally the church had five subsidiary chapels and altars and a three-storey rood screen.

St Wulfram's Church, Grantham, is a parish church in the Church of England in Grantham in Lincolnshire. The church has been a Grade I listed building, since 8 May 1950. This was clearly a church of importance by that time, and the pillars in the eastern part of the nave survive from a Norman cruciform church. The earliest church on this site was built in the early Saxon period and a church was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086. You can still see Saxon herringbone stonework near the organ.
