St Mary is a Church of England parish church in Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire. The four road bridges and nine locks are important heritage features and all of them are Grade II Listed. Seven miles of the canal is currently navigable and the entire canal has a towpath.

Toll Gavel United Church is a friendly Christian Church in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire. It is a local ecumenical partnership between the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church, but has many people of different denominations worshipping. The Church is embedded in such famous events as the Beverley Early Music festival and the Beverley Literature Festival.

The Grade 1 Listed building was originally bought by the Beverley Town Keepers in 1501 to be used as a Guildhall, and has seen continuous civic use since. The building is still used for civic and ceremonial occasions and now also holds the Beverley Community Museum. There is also a Magistrates' Room with original 17th Century furniture and an elegant Mayor's Parlour with a silver collection dating back over several centuries.

Beverley Minster is one of the largest parish churches in England, larger than one-third of all English cathedrals and regarded as a gothic masterpiece by many. Originally a collegiate church, it was not selected as a bishop's seat during the Dissolution of the Monasteries; nevertheless, it survived as a parish church and the chapter house and the attached church of St Martin were the only major parts of the building to be lost. The historic building is located just off the A614 near the village of Skidby and surrounded by picturesque countryside. Built-in 1821, the windmill has been grinding grain for nearly two centuries! It produces its own wholemeal flour, ground between one of its three pairs of millstones and powered by its four 12-meter sails, each weighing more than 1.25 tonnes apiece.

Bishop Wilton Wold is the highest point of the Yorkshire Wolds in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The summit, known as Garrowby Hill, lies about 5 miles north of Pocklington. Although the actual highest point is by the main road, and unattractive, the rest of this walk is a fine introduction to the region. This is a relatively easy circular walk that works well in either direction.

Beverley Beck is a short canal in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The beck runs from Grovehill Lock on the River Hull at Beverley west for about 0.8 miles into the town of Beverley. There's a nice footpath running along the pretty beck which you can pick up just to the east of the Minster and train station. The path runs for just under a mile until it joins with the River Hull. The canal is now it is home to the historic barge 'Syntan' owned by the Beverley Barge Preservation Society.
