South Landing Beach is a small rural sandy beach situated on the Yorkshire coast. The beach is 300 meters in length. The shingle and pebble beach here is backed by grassy, chalk cliffs, which provide beachgoers with some degree of shelter from the sea breezes. Thornwick Bay beach has one of Haven’s larger parks behind it so it can get quite busy when the caravan park is open. Flamborough Head Lighthouse is an active lighthouse located at Flamborough. The current lighthouse was built in 1806 and acts as a waypoint for deep sea vessels and coastal traffic as well as marking the Flamborough Headland for vessels heading for the ports of Scarborough and Bridlington.

Selwicks Bay lies on the Flamborough headland, just above the most easterly point in the promontory. Set in a bay at the foot of high cliffs this sand and pebble beach stretches for around 3/4 mile. As the tide goes out a rocky shoreline, with many rockpools, is revealed. It was one of the iconic attraction in this area and attracts a lot of tourists.

Bridlington Sea Front is a beautiful place to take a stroll, relax in the sun, and take in the fresh sea air. The promenade stretches for over a mile, and there are plenty of benches where you can sit and watch the world go by. This stunning slender pillar is the tallest standing stone in Britain. The stone is hewn out of glomerate Moorstone grit, from the Cleveland Hills, west of Whitby, possibly at Grosmont. It seems likely that the stone marked a prehistoric holy place or worship centre for the indigenous pagan religion, and that Anglo—Saxon missionaries followed the successful strategy of "Christianising" this already sacred object, possibly by fixing a cross to the top.
