About Eisack

The Isarco is a river in northern Italy, born in the ' Alta Vall' Isarco in South Tyrol, near the Brenner Pass, passes through the village of Vipiteno, before descending along the Isarco Valley.  After a course of over 90 kilometers along the homonymous valley, it flows into the Adige near Bolzano, as its main left tributary, presenting a greater flow than the upper segment of the Adige itself.

The Brenner Pass is an Alpine pass that connects Italy and Austria, located at 1372 m asl; it is located 80 km north of Bolzano in South Tyrol and represents one of the most important connections between the countries of Northern Europe and Italy. Since ancient times this pass was the most important link and communication route between the North Sea and the Italian peninsula. There was an uninterrupted migration of people, driven by trade or war.

The Jaufenpass or simply Jaufen is a mountain pass in South Tyrol.  At an altitude of 2094  m slm, it connects the Waltental with the Ratschingstal and the extensive Passeier with the Wipptal. The road connecting the pass, Strada Statale 44 del Passo di Giovo, is very winding and has 20 hairpin bends.

Mount Cuzzo is a mountain in the eastern Alps located between the valleys of Altafossa and Fundres, in the locality Maranza top 2,512 meters, including a ski area of the same name.
