About Peitlerkofel
The Peitlerkofel is at 2875 m the highest mountain in the Peitlerkofel group in the Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy. It is located in the area of the municipality of St. Martin in Thurn and the Puez-Geisler Nature Park. Because of its peripheral location in the Dolomites and the steep northern slopes, the Peitlerkofel is known as the north-western cornerstone of the Dolomites. WürzjochThe Würzjoch is a 1982 m slm high mountain pass in the South Tyrolean Dolomites. The Würzjoch connects the Untermoital coming from the east with the Lüsner valley rising from the north or, more spaciously, the Gadertal with the Eisack valley. Parco Naturale Puez OdleThe Puez-Odle natural park is a protected natural area that mainly includes two mountain groups: the Puez group and the Odle group, both belonging to the Gardena Dolomites in the Dolomites. Gardena PassThe Gardena pass is an alpine pass in the Dolomites, located at 2,121 m asl between Val Gardena and Val Badia, between the Sella group in the south and the Cir group to the north, connecting Selva di Val Gardena with Corvara in Badia. The pass is the starting point for many hiking trails. In the surrounding area, there are numerous ski lifts and ski slopes, including the famous " Dantercepies " and "Cir" which, starting from the pass, reach Selva.
