The Trigno is a river that flows in Molise and Abruzzo, which crosses the provinces of Isernia, Campobasso, and Chieti with 2 main tributaries.  The watercourse originates from the slopes of Monte Capraro, at about 1,150 m asl , in the locality of Capo Trigno in the municipality of Vastogirardi, in the province of Isernia; entered the province of Campobasso, the river marks the border with Abruzzo.

The Guardialfiera or Liscione lake is an artificial reservoir formed in the sixties - seventies by the raising of a dam on the Biferno river in Molise in order to supply drinking water to the surrounding villages for domestic, agricultural and industrial use.

Our Lady of Grace Historic Sanctuary, in the city of Reserve, was the only Catholic Church in its area that served African American parishioners exclusively when it was built in the 1930s. This 80-by-40 square foot, 350-person capacity church, was built exclusively for African Americans in 1936 under the direction of Father Roderick Auclair with the help of the local community. It soon gained another structure for providing Catholic schooling for black children.

The Abetina di Rosello nature reserve is a protected natural area located in the municipalities of Rosello and Agnone, in the provinces of Chieti and Isernia respectively and was established in 1997.  The vegetation of the reserve was the main cause of its establishment. Several flaps fir spontaneous develop some of which Abruzzo and Molise appenine, very important for the preservation of certain plant diversity and plant communities elsewhere now mostly disappeared or severely degraded.

The Giardino Botanico Mediterraneo di San Salvo is located in Marina di Chieti, in the province of Chieti. It is a protected area of about 8 hectares, that is 80000 m2, where the predominant biotype is one of the last specimens of the dune system of the Adriatic, characterised by its typical structure made up of strips parallel to the coastline.

The Cascate del Verde regional nature reserve and WWF OASIS is a protected natural area located in the municipality of Borrello, in the province of Chieti. The reserve includes an area of ​​approximately 287 hectares and was established in 2001.  The rocky walls on which the waterfalls develop and the surrounding ones are covered by perfectly Mediterranean vegetation.
