The beach of Numana Alta includes two bays formed close to the cliff: the Spiaggiola and the Spiaggia Dei Frati, while the beach of Numana low extends south of the port to the hamlet of Marcelli.

The Villa Colloredo Mels Civic Museum is located in Recanati. The museum is housed in a villa that belonged to the Colloredo Mels Counts, a noble family of Friulian origin. The villa, with its original medieval layout, was renovated in the sixteenth century until it obtained its current neoclassical appearance. In 1998 the Civic Museums of Recanati moved there, already in the Town Hall, with collections that include archeology and contemporary art.
