Mixology Class in Bridgetown – 10 Minutes from Cruise Terminal

Things to know
About the Activity
Learn to mix rum-based cocktails with your host and rummelier Dameain, voted "Mixologist of the year" in Barbados for two consecutive years! A brand ambassador for West Indies Rum Distillery's rums, Dameain is also a TV personality. Dameain is excited to share his passion for mixology by offering a master mixology class at the Pelican Bar. Funnily enough, Dameain started his career in nutrition. At the end of his shift at the most popular bar and restaurant in St. Lawrence Gap (Cafe Jungles), he would hang out and help at the bar. His manager saw his interest in the bar and he has since become one of the top bartenders/mixologists in the country. Dameain travels to the US to educate audiences about rum at various spirit festivals and is the person to connect with if you're interested in learning about and appreciating rum! Your experience includes a brief history of rum production and a rum tasting in addition to a mixology class paired with local finger foods.1 hour
