Travelers to Everest Base Camp (EBC) are rewarded with incredible natural beauty, cultural richness, and a unique sense of adventure. Here’s what you can typically see and experience on the trek to Everest Base Camp: Natural Highlights Mount Everest (8,848.86 m / 29,031.7 ft) The highest point on Earth, visible from various points along the trek, especially from Kala Patthar, a nearby viewpoint. Panoramic Himalayan Views Other towering peaks include: Lhotse Nuptse Ama Dablam (considered one of the most beautiful mountains) Thamserku, Pumori, Khumbutse, and Makalu on clear days Glaciers and Icefalls Khumbu Glacier and Khumbu Icefall: massive and dynamic features near EBC.
