This tour can also stop at a Husky Camp where you will meet veterans of the famous 1000-mile Iditarod sled dog race. Another optional stop is at the Yukon Suspension Bridge, which spans the Class 5 Tutshi River. Guests can cuddle with puppies, visit the petting zoo, and also two excellent museums. Guide will take guests to this Husky Camp because he appreciate the care given to the dogs. They want to RUN, it's literally in their blood. These dogs are capable of running 100 miles per day, for 10 days, and they sometimes run another race one week later. They are AMAZING athletes. Admission is $15 CAD (about $10 USD). If you would like to take a ride with the racing Huskies, they will be ready to pull you around a course through the woods, and learn all about racing, the dogs, race strategy and a lot more.
