About the Activity
Jim's tour to Trakai & Hill of Angels is a bus tour crafted by myself, Jim, after years as a hobby historian starting (yet to finish..) three medieval books set in the 12th, 13th and 14th centuries respectively. During the trip I cover the Teutonic Knights, pesky Poland, basketball, the Cold War and much more! With a background in Biochemistry and a career working in the cleantech sector, I am sure to bring in lots of interesting old and new facts, stories and narratives about the country of Lithuania I now call home with my wife and son. There is 2,5 hours of 'free' time at Trakai for you to explore, but expect lots of action on the bus out and back! Whilst in Trakai there are water activities, exploring the castle (10€) and lots of shops and restaurants to try the famous Tatar Kibinai. Looking forward to hosting you.5 hours

We will stop by the hill of Angels with over 40 wooden angels and crosses originally created in 2009 to commemorate two important milestones: Lithuania’s 1000th anniversary and the 600th anniversary of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Basilica in Trakai.
