Experience the thrill of sliding skiing in Pyhä-Luosto national park, in Lapland. With your skis, enjoy an Arctic guided sliding ski tour adventure into the white forests and pure nature of Lapland. This adventure is private trip, only for your group. Your local guide will take you to places away from city lights, straight to the backcountry of Pyhä and Luosto. Explore snowy landscapes in the wilderness forests. We can also chase the auroras/ northern lights if u wish.
Before embarking on the tour, learn about sliding snowshoe features and technique. Sliding snowshoes combine the best features of snowshoes and forest skis. They offer a good grip when skiing uphill and allow for a bit of speed when skiing downhill. This casual sliding snowshoe experience is also suitable for beginners in all ages (minimum age 8 years/ shoe size minimum 35/ maximum 49).
