In this charming bento-making workshop, you’ll step into a cozy and welcoming space filled with warm nostalgia and the joyful spirit of Japanese home cooking. Over the course of the session, you’ll learn to create your own cute, nutritionally balanced bento, featuring classic homemade elements like sausage octopus, fluffy tamagoyaki (rolled omelette), and adorable animal shapes crafted from rice.
Express your creativity by designing your own unique character to decorate your bento, making it truly one-of-a-kind. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to chat with locals and make new friends who share your love of Japanese culture and food.
As a special keepsake, you will receive a traditional furoshiki wrapping cloth, and you’ll be taught the artful technique of wrapping your bento just like it’s done in Japan — turning your delicious creation into a beautiful gift to take home.
This activity is more than just cooking; it’s a heartwarming experience that brings the flavors, traditions, and spirit of Japanese families straight to your hands.
