Your experience is curated by an internationally credentialed wine and beverage expert. You will learn industry standard tasting techniques used by all wine professionals. You will learn about the unique viticultural history, indigenous grape varieties, and winemaking techniques in Greece. The tasting is approachable for everyone, from novice to expert. The beachside setting is beautiful. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined. This is an ideal day trip to unwind either before or after your trip to the Greek islands. Guests may enjoy many nearby activities, including water sports and private boat charters (non-affiliated providers). This experience offers guests flexibility - after the wine tasting, guests may spend as much time as they want at the beach before moving on to another experience (e.g., Cape Sounio, Temple of Poseidon). The experience begins with a 90-minute wine tasting led by a Certified Sommelier.
Our objectives: (1) educate guests on professional tasting methods used by all wine experts; (2) introduce guests to Greek wines, demonstrating their beauty, diversity, and value.
You will taste several different wines from top Greek, French, and other producers.

Depending on when you book your return to Athens, you might charter a RIB motor boat with a skipper from the boatyard next door. Or just relax seaside until the Castus Beach Bar comes alive with its stable of outstanding DJs.

- Greek sparkling wine to excite the palate - It is both traditional and helpful to begin a tasting with bubbles. This sparkling wine may be a rosé or a blanc de noir from a top Greek producer.
Main Courses
- White Wines - Compare the freshness and minerality of old-vine Assyrtiko from PDO Santorini with crisp, steely Chardonnay from AOC Chablis.
- Rosé wines - Compare two pale beauties: one incorporates a nearly extinct ancient Greek grape variety; the other a classic pale Provencal expression.
- Red Wines - Compare two of the most elegant and complex grape varieties in the world: Xinomavro from Naoussa and Pinot Noir from Burgundy.
