About the Activity

Chopta-Tungnath is a 27km trek leading to the highest Shiva temple in India: Tungnath. Its highest point is located in the Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarakhand at 3,700 m. It is one of the most exciting and diverse treks you can do in the region. The trek is accessible for people with less trekking experience and is a great way to get initiated into the beauty of the Indian Himalayas.

  • We'll have breakfast on the way to Sari in an Indian restaurant. You'll have a choice of various items in the menu.

  • We'll have lunch in Sari. It will be composed of a fresh hand-made indian meal (daal, vegetables, chapati, and rice).

  • The dinner will be served in our camp near Deoriya Tal. It will be freshly made with vegetables we brought.
