UgandaStarting your day at 5:50 AM, depart from Kabale for a scenic 2-3 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, arriving at the park headquarters around 8:00 AM for registration and a ranger briefing on gorilla tracking guidelines. By 8:30 AM, embark on your trek into the dense rainforest, navigating steep terrain and lush vegetation in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take 1-5 hours, depending on the gorillas' location, and upon finding them, you'll spend an unforgettable hour observing their behavior in their natural habitat.
