Akagera National Park

Smaller antelope species also abound, with duiker, oribi, bohor reedbuck, klipspringer, bushbuck, and impala frequently spotted throughout the park.
Primate enthusiasts will delight in observing olive baboons and vervet monkeys during daylight hours, while the more secretive blue monkey may reward patient observers.
Akagera's ecosystem supports a range of predators, including the stealthy leopard, opportunistic hyena, and side-striped jackal. The recent reintroduction of lions has added an exciting dimension to the park's predator population.
