About the Activity
Come and admire the Piton de la Fournaise by private vehicle with driver: it is one of the most active volcanoes in the world! The day will make you discover beautiful and unmissable places of Reunion. We will pass through the Plaine des Cafres, a large plateau of altitude with green pastures, then through the forest of the volcano and its mysterious atmosphere. Let’s take a break at the Rivière des Remparts to admire its vertiginous cliffs. We will then cross the Plain of Sands: a gigantic sandy expanse like we could find on Mars. Then we finally stand in front of the Piton de la Fournaise volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in the world! On the way back, we will visit the Volcano City to understand everything about volcanism in Réunion. Remarks: Compatible with cruise lines on excursion 7/8h.7 hours to 8 hours
