Serabit el-Khadim Mountain
, EgyptDay 1: We leave at 2 am, to take a car to Abu Zeneima. We will arrive there around 7 am, to take our desert car to Serabit el Khadim, here we have our breakfast, then we visit Wadi Nasb, to see 19th Dynasty ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics from the time of the pharaoh Merenptah. After Wadi Nasb, we continue to Wadi Baaba, to have lunch in the desert. Then we drive to Wadi Kharig, an important Bronze Age site that was used for copper and turquoise mining. there, we find some of the best-preserved hieroglyphics, for King Sahure of the 5th dynasty. We then go back to our desert camp, to have dinner and enjoy the night around the fire. Tour operator will pick up all customers from their respective locations- Travelers CANNOT choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
- Please be on time!!! Don't forget your passport, good hiking shoes, sun protection, and clothes according to the season. On early starts, you can ask your hotel for a "take-away breakfast box". Bring some water with you for during the trip.
