About the Activity
Departing from Anchorage, enjoy the scenic journey to Palmer, as you learn about the rich history of Anchorage and the Matanuska Colony project. First stop will be at the Musk Ox farm. On this guided tour, you will learn all about these majestic animals, as you tour the pastors that over seventy Musk Ox call home. Next, head to downtown Palmer to explore this quaint town on your own. After, we will head to the Reindeer farm. There, you will be able to get up and close and possibly hand-feed the wide variety of Alaskan animals they have. Afterwards we will head back to Anchorage.8 hours
