About the Activity
Our day begins by meeting with you and traveling towards the area of Nemea, where we begin our tour at the ancient stadium of Nemea, built in the 4th century BC, next to the temple of Zeus. Next, we will visit two award-winning wineries in the area, where we will learn about the vintage process, the wine-making stages and see the way wine is produced. We will share with you all the secrets of wine, through tasting some of the various local varieties. Our tour ends with a return trip to our pick up destination.6 hours

Well known for the Nemean games, with a capacity of 40.000 spectators, it is one of the best preserved stadiums and we can still see the tunnel through which the athletes entered the stadium. Nemea is also known for the vineyards. The area has the most wineries in Greece as grape growing has been a tradition here since ancient times. Driving through the grape yards of the largest wine production zone in Greece, our next stop will be the largest winery of the region. On a high altitude spot of Nemea we will taste some of the best varieties that grow here.

Second winery, Argos, Peloponnese
As we drive back to Argolis region, through the beautiful plane, we will stop to another grand winery. There we will learn about the uniqueness of Greek varieties and about the winemaking procedure. The history of wine since ancient times and the culture throughout the years. After our tour around the winery we will have the opportunity to learn how to drink wine using our senses and try some of the highest quality wines of Peloponnese.
